During the past 8 years, I have been a Carer for my mother who is now 89. Attending Carers meetings, I mostly heard very sad and even horrific stories about how Carers were coping in this difficult role. I thought to myself that there must be some homourous stories that Carers could relate about their experiences – even black humour – so I spent two years doing research and interviewing fellow Carers and gathered enough humour to include in a book which also includes a wealth of useful information for Carers. The book titled Carers Companion is available from this website. It is endorsed by Ita Buttrose – well known celebrity and ambassador for Carers, Noelene Brown. The book is appreciated and valued by people in a caring role, so now is your chance to buy a copy.
